Synopsis
Un journaliste du front se rend à Tachkent pour rencontrer la famille d'un camarade de régiment mort à la guerre, assister au tournage d'un film réalisé d'après ses notes, fêter le nouvel an 1943, vivre un amour court mais intense, en un mot vivre 20 jours sans guerre.
